Evolution Equations: Direct and Inverse Problems

The aim of the conference is to provide an up-to-date overview of the recent results and open problems related to the topics as follows:

1. differential equations in Banach spaces via linear and nonlinear semigroups;
2. identification problems;
3. applications to PDE's.

This meeting, inspired by those held in the last years at Gargnano, Cortona, Rimini on related subjects, intends to highlight the importance of functional analytic methods in treating both direct and inverse problems for differential equations arising from applied sciences.
