XCMODEL Version 1.0

The public release of XCMODEL was updated on Febrrary 29, 2000. Features of XCMODEL over beta version:

Many, but not all, bugs fixed
Download binary version for SGI and Sun too
Download development version (not yet)
Simplified source compilation; single Makefile

XCMODEL is designed to run on any workstation or PC system running a Unix Operating System with Xwindow System. XCMODEL is able to compile and run in the following environments:

Sun SPARC, Solaris, with SUN's C compiler "cc" or GNU's "gcc"
SGI, Irix, with SGI's C compiler "cc"
Intel, Linux

and we expect compilation problems to be minimal under other environments.

This version of XCMODEL (the whole system ) requires 11 Mbytes of free space on your hard disk, at least a 24 bit and 1024x768 resolution graphics adapter and display.

XCCURV requires xxx Mbyte of free space and no particular resolution or colors for the graphics adapter and display.

XCSURF requires xxx Mbytes of free space on your hard disk, and no particular resolution or colors for the graphics adapter and display.

XCBOOL requires xxx Mbytes of free space on your hard disk, at least a 24 bit and 1024x768 resolution graphics adapter and display.

XCRAYT and XMOVIE require xxx Mbytes of free space on your hard disk, at least a 24 bit and 1024x768 resolution graphics adapter and display.
